Singular perturbation near mode-coupling transition

چکیده
We study the simplest mode-coupling equation which describes the time correlation function of the spherical p-spin glass model. We formulate a systematic perturbation theory near the mode-coupling transition point by introducing multiple time scales. In this formulation, the invariance with respect to the dilatation of time in a late stage yields an arbitrary constant in a leading order expression of the solution. The value of this constant is determined by a solvability condition associated with a linear singular equation for perturbative corrections in the late stage. The solution thus constructed provides exactly the α-relaxation time. PACS numbers: 05.10.-a,64.70.Q-, 02.30.Oz

Near-Optimal Controls of a Fuel Cell Coupled with Reformer using Singular Perturbation methods
A singularly perturbed model is proposed for a system comprised of a PEM Fuel Cell(PEM-FC) with Natural Gas Hydrogen Reformer (NG-HR). This eighteenth order system is decomposedinto slow and fast lower order subsystems using singular perturbation techniques that provides tools forseparation and order reduction. Then, three different types of controllers, namely an optimal full-order,a near-opti...
متن کاملContinuous Mode Transition
Some aspects of transition induced by freestream turbulence can be understood in terms of the continuous spectrum of the Orr-Sommerfeld and Squire equations. Instead of discrete mode (Tollmien-Schlichting wave) precursors, transition can be studied, starting from continuous mode precursors. An examination of mode shapes leads to a theory of how freestream disturbances penetrate the boundary lay...

This paper, proposes a methodology to implement a suitable nonsingular terminal sliding mode controller associated with the output feedback control to achieve a successful trajectory tracking of a non-holonomic wheeled mobile robot in presence of longitudinal and lateral slip accompanied. This implementation offers a relatively faster and high precision tracking performance. We investigate this...
متن کاملOn the Fourier transformation of Renormalization Invariant Coupling
Integral transformations of the QCD invariant (running) coupling and of some related objects are discussed. Special attention is paid to the Fourier transformation, that is to transition from the space-time to the energy–momentum representation. The conclusion is that the condition of possibility of such a transition provides us with one more argument against the real existence of unphysical si...

Molecular dynamics simulation has been performed to analyze the effect of the presence of gold nanoparticle on dynamics of Kob-Anderson binary Lennard-Jones (BLJ) mixture upon supercooling within the framework of the mode coupling theory of the dynamic glass transition. The presence of gold nanoparticle has a direct effect on the liquid structure and causes the peaks of the radial distribution ...
